When churches come together, it’s an excellent message of compassion and support to those less fortunate in our community when we all come together in unity to give necessities to the less fortunate. Many members of Metropolitan Baptist Church just recently spent a Saturday in the parking lot of their church, handing out food, canned products, school supplies and other basic needs to those who had no means of receiving the help they were looking for.
One of the great things about the service was that it was a group effort and that the whole congregation did great work to assist their fellow man. The pastor and members of the congregation were inspired to continue their good work and to keep up with the needs of those who were less fortunate.
It’s amazing how many churches have failed in their mission to bring our brothers and sisters closer to God.Even though we have seen some tremendous changes in our society when it comes to the religious arena, many churches Chesapeake are still being led by the 23321 same old leadership that have failed us in the past.It’s 2705 Taylor Rd not enough anymore. We must stand up to them and make sure we hold our leaders accountable.
God has given us the tools to take care of ourselves, but in these
troubled
economic times, our leadership needs to show the world how God is really doing things. Instead of holding hands and singing songs, how about we use a little bit of action to help others? There are many churches throughout the world that have been successful because they put their faith in God to help them lead and to give them a sense of purpose.
As we go through our journey to a better place in the world, we must always remember that Jesus came to save us from our sin and he wants Christians everywhere to help Virginia others and make a difference. He has created this wonderful place in heaven where all His faithful followers can go to and spend a little time with Him.
God has not left us high and dry on our own to church near me fend for ourselves; He has left us to help one another. He will never leave us alone. As long as we are willing to come to Him and listen and obey His word, He will take care of us and He will give us strength and confidence to do good works in our lives
